773 New Companies Registered in Pakistan during June

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) registered 773 new companies in June, representing a 28 percent growth compared to June, 2017. This has raised the total number of registered companies across Pakistan to 87,622.

Around 77 percent companies were registered as private limited companies, while around 21 percent were registered as single-member companies. 2 percent were registered as public unlisted, non-profit associations, foreign companies, and limited liability partnerships (LLPs).

Foreign investment has been reported in 39 new companies. These companies have foreign investors from Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Indonesia, Japan, Jordan, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Syria, UK, and USA.

  • Peshawar 30
  • Multan 27
  • Faisalabad 17
  • Gilgit 12
  • Quetta 10
  • Sukkur 8
